Find the Support You Need
Support groups offer learning, shared experience and valuable insight from others dealing with similar challenges. A number of support groups are available through OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital. Current and former patients, family members and caregivers are encouraged to participate in these important educational programs.
Stroke Support Groups
- Stroke survivor support group: 1st Tuesday of each month, 6:30 p.m.
- Stroke caregiver support group: 3rd Thursday of each month, 6:00 p.m.
- Young stroke survivors support group: 2nd Friday of each month, 10 a.m.
All stroke support groups are held at The Dempsey Family Education and Resource Center, located within the OhioHealth Neuroscience Center at Riverside Methodist Hospital (3535 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43214)
Brain Injury Support Group
- 2nd Thursday of each month, 6:00 p.m. (in-person and via Zoom)
