OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital is licensed by the state of Ohio and holds accreditations from the following organizations:

Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)

Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), CARF International is an independent, non-profit accreditor of health and human services. CARF accreditation demonstrates a provider’s commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback and serving the community.

OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital was awarded the following CARF accreditations for a period of three years each:

  • Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program
  • Stroke Specialty Program
  • Brain Injury Specialty Program
  • Spinal Cord Injury Specialty Program
  • Amputee Specialty Program

The Joint Commission

OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, an independent, not-for-profit organization that focuses on the safety and quality of care for persons treated at hospitals and health care facilities nationwide.
