William Cox, Jr. Chief Operating Officer – Columbus

William Cox, Jr. is the chief operating officer of OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital – Columbus. In this role since 2023, he oversees operational leadership and hospital management.

William previously served as CEO at Select Specialty Hospital – Columbus East, where he was responsible for hospital operations while ensuring exceptional patient and employee experiences. Prior to this role, William spent four years as director of outreach operations at Ohio State University Heart & Vascular Center. William is also a registered respiratory therapist with an extensive clinical background.

He earned an associate degree from Columbus State Community College, bachelor’s degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene College and Master of Business Administration from Ohio State University.
