Director of Rehabilitation

Elaine Duell

Elaine Duell is the director of rehabilitation services at OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital – Columbus. In this role since 2023, Elaine oversees the development of the therapy team in achieving successful patient outcomes through adoption of evidence-based practices, acquiring and maintaining equipment and technology and ensuring the therapy team culture aligns with the hospital’s key results and core values.

With over 15 years of experience in healthcare and rehabilitation, Elaine has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, skilled nursing, home health, assisted and independent living, adult day services and long-term acute care. She has worked for OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital – Columbus for over 10 years in a variety of roles, most recently serving as therapy manager.

Elaine earned a bachelor’s of arts in health and human performance and a master’s in occupational therapy from West Virginia University.
