      Kyle Sherman

Kyle was a substitute teacher preparing for his first full-time job teaching math at a local high school. Over the summer, he dove into a pool and sustained a spinal cord injury that caused paralysis. He was admitted to OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital for rehabilitation therapy.

After 33 days of inpatient rehabilitation therapy, Kyle relearned to walk with the help of a walker. He is now walking independently.

Kyle returned to teaching in January 2015 at Grove City High School.
